Application Stages
Every application passes through the following stages.

Application and biometrics received at the consular office.

Documents and supporting evidence are verified.

Case assessed by a consular officer.

Decision
Outcome issued and passport returned to the applicant.
Required Documents
- Valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity
- Completed and signed visa application form
- Recent biometric photograph (35 × 45 mm)
- Proof of accommodation and travel itinerary
- Travel medical insurance with minimum coverage of EUR 30,000
- Proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of stay

How often is the status updated?
Statuses are synchronised with the consular records system several times per day.
My passport number is not recognised. What should I do?
Applications may take up to 48 hours to appear. If the problem persists, contact the consular office with your receipt number.
Can I speed up my application?
Expedited handling is available only in documented humanitarian or medical emergencies, upon written request.
Will I be notified of the decision?
Yes. You will be contacted using the e-mail address and telephone number provided in your application.
